If you're looking to spend the day picking your own fruit this summer, check out these three options. Baskets at the ready!
Craigies Farm

At Craigies Farm, you have the chance to handpick different fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, cherries, currants, blackcurrants, and gooseberries.

You do have to book your spot online, but they also offer a special pick-and-play ticket for kids, which includes admission to their indoor play area.

Cairnie Fruit Farm & Mega Maze

If you're willing to venture a bit further, consider visiting Cairnie Farm for a fantastic day out. They offer the opportunity to handpick a variety of fruits such as Strawberries, Raspberries, Redcurrants, Blackcurrants, Gooseberries, Cherries, Brambles, Pumpkins, and Sunflowers.
You can easily spend the whole day at the farm by exploring the Funyard, which is brimming with fun activities. Attractions include a go-cart track, a massive straw bale climbing fortress, sunken trampolines, a large sandpit, thrilling swings and slides, a section dedicated to young farmers with ride-on pedal tractors, loaders, and trailers, an XL bouncing pillow, a 30m flying fox, and a Barrel Bug Ride.
Starting in the middle of July, you will have the opportunity to explore their 6-acre maze as well.

Border Berries
Borders Berries in Kelso offers a selection of fruits including Strawberries, Gooseberries, Raspberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, tayberries, and peas.
The farm is open daily from 10am to 7pm. There is a café on-site or picnic benches if you want to bring your own lunch.
