Exploring The Wiggles Soft Play at The Loch Centre in Tranent

If you're looking for a fun, energetic, and safe place for your little ones to burn off some energy, look no further than The Wiggles Soft Play at The Loch Centre in Tranent, East Lothian.

We recently decided to visit The Wiggles Soft Play at 4PM, and it turned out to be the perfect time for our little one, especially after a slightly later nap. With the soft play area open until 6PM, we had plenty of time to burn off some energy. The best part, we had the whole place to ourselves!

For parents whose little ones like to stay up a bit later, Wiggles is ideal.

The soft play is spread across three levels, each offering features that cater to different age groups. The bottom level is designed for babies. Here, little ones can explore soft play cubes, perfect for building, stacking, and crawling through.

The upper levels are packed with activities for older kids. There's a tunnel that children can crawl through. The rope bridge provides a little challenge as kids navigate their way across, and the large bouncy balls are great for jumping and having fun. My little one had a great time on the spin seat getting dizzy. To top it all off, there’s a double slide - great fun for racing friends or siblings down.

When we arrived, the café was closed, but there were plenty of tables available for us to sit and enjoy the snacks we brought from home. But the menu looked like it had lots of good options.

It’s also important to note that the soft play area can get busy, especially during weekends and school holidays, so it's a good idea to check ahead or arrive early to secure your spot!

Additional Support Sessions

Running every Wednesday from 4:30pm – 5:30pm, it’s open to all ages. They have a dedicated book corner, sensory toys and playmat. Numbers are also reduced to 15.
